No matter your age or abilities you will enjoy the personal attention from our skilled instructors. The people of Kayak Instruction, the Red River Racing Team, are committed to providing you with the best whitewater and flatwater kayaking and canoeing programs available. We do it by immersing ourselves in the programs that we offer, and in the sport that we love so much. We are here to paddle!!!

You will be looked after individually and gain from our experience and insights. The quality of our instructors will provide you with a model to follow in your own paddling, and offer you a depth of knowledge that will continue to be available to you for as long as you paddle! We pay close attention to what we can do to help you to achieve your canoe and kayak goals. This includes exposure to different types of gear and boats, and guidance in selecting it. We have a full whitewater store to help outfit you with everything that you need. No matter your abilities or age, you will enjoy the personal attention from our leaders in the sport!

Our headquarters, The Power Olympic Outdoor Center, is located right across from the new Rio Vista Falls whitewater park! Being spring fed, the San Marcos River remains a perfect 72 degrees all year long! This warm water, mild south Texas weather, and the best canoe and kayak instruction available combine to create the perfect opportunity to learn to paddle no matter what the season!
