The Kayak Award class is a three hour clinic designed to introduce paddling to the novice.

The course provides the necessary skills to begin to paddle safely and efficiently. You will learn: basic water safety, how maneuver your kayak effectively, and how to "read" the river!

The price of the Kayak Award Course is $55 All other prices are half off of the regularly priced courses. We can customize these courses greatly, so please give us a call and we can set up a great day on the river for you and your scout troop!

You will be taught by Olympians, US Team athletes, and Olympic hopefuls who have been working to refine their techniques for top performance for years! Our people will provide you with a model to follow in your paddling, and offer you a depth of paddling that will continue to be available to you for as long as you paddle. Our instructors hold ACA and USACK instructor certifications as well as first aid and CPR. All of our proceeds go to benefit our Junior Olympic kayak programs and Olympic hopefuls in the sport of whitewater slalom. No matter what your age and abilities you will enjoy the personal attention from leaders in the sport.
